IRWA Chapter 4
Chapter 4 of the International Right of Way Association, with nearly 300 active members, serves professionals throughout Western Washington. The chapter holds local monthly meetings September through May, IRWA education classes as scheduled and other events for the membership. Please contact a local chapter board member or attend a monthly meeting to find out more about what IRWA Chapter 4 can do for you!
I hope everyone had an excellent holiday and Happy New Year! We had a great time at our Holiday Party this year and gave out a lot of prizes. Thanks for all of you that participated in such a successful event.
The first meeting of the year was exciting as we had two great projects competing for Project of the Year. Thanks to Snohomish County and CLS for participating and congratulations to Snohomish County for winning the Project of the Year! Their presentation of the Seattle Hill Road Improvement Project was a great example of project challenges, cooperation, and strategic problem solving. Continue reading here.
Instructor-Presenter, Employer, and Professional of the Year Awards!
Do you know an inspiring instructor-presenter, a great employer, a superb professional or an awesome project this year? If so, bring out your best, and show us your cards! We want to know about it. The nomination forms are here. The sooner the better, so submit early!
Awards for Instructor, Employer and Professional of the Year are all due on April 30, 2018, and awards will be presented at the installation dinner in June 2018.

As for the 2017 prize, one volunteer will be nominated and selected by the board with the Volunteer of the Year Award presented at the June Installation and Awards Banquet. The Chapter will pay the 2017 membership dues for the Volunteer of the Year award winner.
IRWA Chapter 4 holds monthly membership meetings on the second Wednesday of the month. The meetings include excellent guest speakers discussing timely topics. Non members are encouraged to attend as the meetings are a perfect networking opportunity for all. Keep an eye on the website for the next meeting. We hope to see you there!
